Come and have a coffee in this gorgeous café! A large Community building, well loved and used by the locals, in Lordship Recreation ground, Haringey, London. Designed by Anne Thorne Architects with specialist consultancy from Barbara Jones it comprises classrooms, a café and public toilets and is run by a community association see https://lordshiphub.org.uk/ The straw walls, lime plaster outside and clay plaster inside was all done by Straw Works both through training courses and with their own build team (now become SNaB) and it was built in 2013. This is a timber frame and straw infill building with a floor area of approximately 260m². The contractor for the rest of the work was Vinci Construction.
